Who is Kerrigan Foster?
I am a storyteller at the intersection of multimedia journalism and public relations. As a senior graduating in December 2026 from Southeast Missouri State University, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications: Multimedia Journalism and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications: Public Relations, along with a minor in Political Science. Through this, I blend reporting, strategy, and creative communication in my work.
My experience with the Arrow has shaped my approach to digital-first storytelling, where I have produced multimedia content that combines writing, video, audio, photography, and design. Alongside reporting, I have also contributed to promotional campaigns and audience engagement efforts, understanding that strong journalism depends not only on the story itself, but on how it reaches the public.
I have also led public relations efforts as the Public Relations Vice President for the Zeta Delta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, where I developed brand identity, managed social media and creative teams, and increased engagement through thoughtful messaging and visual consistency.
Whether I am reporting, designing, or building communication strategies, I am passionate about ethical storytelling, creativity, and connecting people to meaningful stories.
